So I spent a couple of weeks and weekends abroad - eating Tapas in Madrid, watching Hammerheads in the Red Sea, and eating Indian food in Cambridge. That same weekend I also went to take a couple of pics of my friend Marty's band, Riot:Noise, at their single release party in Camden Town.

The location's called Bar Monsta, and the red paint on their walls sure looks cool. 's a pain though when you're trying to take a decent picture - together with the orange lights that hung kinda low, you mostly get well-lit belly buttons with blurry background. Glad I brought that superexpensive D3 :-) !

The whole night surprised me - not only the headliner, but also the rest of the bands were really great; it was good to hear people on the mike who actually *can* sing! Check Riot:Noise out on their MySpace!
